To start a blog on a site, create a new Blog page in the Pages application.

To create a blog

  1. Open the Pages application.

  2. In the Content tree click where you want to create the blog.

  3. Click on New ().

  4. (Optional) Choose the Blog page type. An editing form opens.

    The types of pages that you can create vary depending on how your administrator configured the system. For example, you may only be able to create blogs in a certain section of the site. If you are allowed to create a single type of page in the section, you are redirected directly to the page’s editing form (step 5) without having to choose the page type.

  5. Select a page template for the new blog and click on Continue.

  6. Fill in the details of the new blog.

  7. Save the new blog.

You can now add blog posts to the blog.
